My story
I was born in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, and moved to LA at the age of 4, yet I tried never to lose touch with my Mexican heritage. The traditional Mexican recipes I share with my followers have been passed down for generations in my family.
Although I later mastered my culinary arts on my own, I started by learning most of my mother’s recipes at the age of 13. I also consider a well-fed family is the key to being a happy family. Family is extremely important to me, and I believe that dinner should be celebrated every day as the table is where you get to catch up on each other’s lives and that food brings people together.
